HELP
Troubleshooting
The usual answers, in one place.
Most questions about ShopCard come down to one setting on the item, the module or the settings page. Here they are in one place.
IN THE BUILDER
Finding things
I CANNOT FIND THE MODULES
Check the plugin is active under Plugins and that you are in the Divi 5 Visual Builder, then search the module list for shopcard. On Divi 4, or with the Divi 5 builder switched off, the modules do not appear - use the shortcode instead.
MY ITEM IS NOT IN THE MODULE’S LIST
Only published items and collections are listed. Publish it under ShopCard › Items, then reopen the module. Start typing its name to narrow a long list.
ON THE CARD
Cards, photos and prices
A CARD HAS DISAPPEARED
Its item was deleted, moved to the bin or unpublished. Logged-in editors see a short notice in its place; choose another item, or restore the old one from the bin.
THE PHOTO LOOKS SOFT OR ODDLY CROPPED
Cards show the item image as an upright 4:5, cropped from the centre. Upload a larger image - around 1000 pixels on the longer side - with the product in the middle of the frame.
THE PRICE IS OUT OF DATE
Prices are typed by you and never update on their own. Change it on the item, or leave the price empty.
PART OF THE CARD IS MISSING
Either the item has nothing in that field, or the module has that part switched off under Elements. Check both.
LINKS
Where the button goes
THE BUTTON OPENS IN THE SAME TAB
Check Open in new tab in ShopCard › Settings, and the item’s own Link options if it is set to Custom for this item.
THE DISCLOSURE DOES NOT SHOW
Type your wording in ShopCard › Settings and check where it is set to appear. A module can also hide it under Elements.
STILL STUCK?
Clear the caches
If a card looks out of date after a change, clear your caching plugin and your browser cache, then Divi’s CSS cache under Divi › Theme Options. If it is still wrong, open a support ticket with a link to the page, a screenshot and your Divi version.
