A tour of the seven pages
What each page is for, and how it is put together.
Kaya is seven pages plus a journal. They share a small set of building blocks - a hero card, an alternating band, a ruled list, a hairline-framed image - so once you have changed one page the rest are familiar. This is the map.
THE PAGES
Seven pages, each with a job
WHAT EACH PAGE DOES
Home — The full tour: a split hero, three pathway cards, a portrait and introduction, a quiet statement band, the three offers as a ruled list, one featured quotation, and the latest journal posts.
About — The long version of who you are. A hero card, the story, an "off the clock" panel, the four steps of working together, a band of figures, and a frequently-asked-questions accordion.
Services — Three offers, one per band, each with a square photograph, a price line, what is included and a "best for" line so a reader can place themselves.
Resources — A free library: three download cards, six recommendations in a ruled grid, and a "what to reach for when" panel that points back at the offers.
Blog — The journal archive. Six posts in a three-up grid with pagination, driven by a Theme Builder template rather than page content.
Contact — A hero card whose button is your email address, the enquiry form, the practical details, and three cards pointing onwards.
Landing page — A sales page for one offer, with no site header or footer. It has an article of its own.
THE PATTERN
Bands, alternating
Every page is a stack of full-width bands. They alternate cream and khaki all the way down, with the paler cream alt reserved for the hero band at the very top. Changing a band's colour is a one-click change in the section's Background tab - but keep the alternation going, or two neighbouring bands will read as one.
THE PATTERN
The hero card
About, Services, Resources and Contact all open the same way: an ivory card with a hairline border, laid slightly over a framed photograph. Inside the card the order is always the same - a small label, a short rule, the heading, one line of italic, and a button. Every gap inside that card is identical by design; if you add something, give it the same spacing as its neighbours.
THE PATTERN
The ruled list
Where other themes would use three bordered cards, Kaya often uses a ruled list: rows separated by a single hairline, with a label and price on the left and the detail on the right. It is used for the offers on Home and for the recommendations on Resources. It reads as one table rather than three competing boxes.
THE PATTERN
The newsletter band, and the flower
The taupe sign-up band at the foot of every page is not part of any page - it lives in the footer template, so it appears everywhere automatically. The line-drawn sprig that sits above it belongs to the last section of each page and continues down into the band. If you add a new section to the bottom of a page, move the sprig onto it, or the flower will end up in the middle of the page.
