FORMS
The inquiry form and newsletter
Two small connections, and you are open for business.
Both of these work out of the box, but neither is pointed at you yet. Five minutes now saves a lost inquiry later.
THE INQUIRY FORM
Where your inquiries go
The form on the Inquire page uses Divi's Contact Form. Out of the box it sends to your site's admin email address.
STEP ONE
Open the form's settings
Edit the Inquire page in the Divi Builder and open the contact form module.
STEP TWO
Set the address
Go to Email Account and enter the address you want inquiries to reach. Divi keeps sending from your site, so the address only decides where messages land.
STEP THREE
Send yourself a test
Fill the form in on the live page and make sure the message arrives. If it does not, your host is probably blocking WordPress mail - an SMTP plugin solves it.
THE NEWSLETTER
Connecting your provider
The sign-up in the footer uses Divi's Email Optin module, which needs your own email provider - Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Flodesk and the rest are all supported.
STEP ONE
Add your account to Divi
Connect your provider in Divi's email provider settings, where you paste the API key from your provider's account.
STEP TWO
Choose the account and list
Open the footer's optin module, choose your account and the list sign-ups should join. Until you do, the form appears but sign-ups will not go anywhere.
